Concerned Taxpayers Accountability Center (CTAC) is built on a simple principle: individuals and businesses work hard for every dollar, and the taxes they contribute to their community should deliver real value back to it.

What does that value look like?

• Lives and property protected by law enforcement and a legal system that lets personal liberty flourish.

• A healthy balance between an owner's right to develop and build and the responsibility to protect the environment.

• A government that meaningfully assists those least able to help themselves — while leaving room for private and charitable solutions to do the same.

• Education funding and standards directed to local communities, so families have real say over how their children are educated.

• Transportation funded in proportion to the will of the voters, with a common-sense, multi-modal approach that limits environmental impact.

• Taxes and regulation focused on the core responsibilities of government — and not much beyond them.
